This place is every bit as good as it looks. We've stayed everywhere in Belize, and what the owner has here is magic in the natural beauty that has been merely enhanced by authentic, yet classy accomodations. What no one else has that truly makes the experience is the phenomenal 4 staff members that have you sad to leave because you feel like you are losing family as the boat pulls away. If you are thinking about this place, stop thinking and go. The location makes you not need excursions, the staff make you not miss a traditional resort experience as the food is phenomenal and the seclusion is what a tired soul needs for a break. We will be back, and referring our friends. The owner even checked on us when weather turned and anticipated changes to make sure we were to mainland and not worrying about catching flight home. Thanks for this amazing vacation during the height of Covid.

I can't quite accurately describe our time spent on Little Peter because honestly it feels like a dream.  It was THE best vacation I have ever been on in my life.  I honestly thought most of the photos had a filter on them to make the water look that blue...there isn't.  The water truly is THAT blue.  The beds are comfortable. The drinks are delicious. The food is tasty and beautifully plated.  The staff were so kind and accommodating. Truthfully, if Manny called us today and asked how things were going, it would be like catching up with an old friend.  

We weren't able to do much on the mainland because of covid, but they made sure we were able to experience real Belize.  There was plenty to do on the island, we went fishing, we dove for our own lobster and conch...then ate it fresh that night.  We watched the sun set on "Sunset Beach" every night. We gazed at stars (thousands of them!) each night from the deck below the house. We kayaked, snorkeled, read books, went swimming and relaxed.

One night, after sunset and after dinner, we decided to pull out one of the many board games stored in the house for guest use. A question on one of the cards read, "If you could get on your knees and beg for one thing, knowing you would get it, what would you ask for?"...and apparently my then boyfriend took that coincidence as a sign from the universe and got down on one knee, pulled a ring out of his pocket, and proposed right there!  10/10 Romantic!! 

Some information regarding travel: It does take a bit to get to the island...but that's the price you pay for privacy. As long as you have your negative covid test and the Belize Health App open at checkpoints, you'll move along quickly. We went the first week that Belize opened in October and they already had things down to a seemingly usual process. The flight into Dangriga is about 20 minutes, the drive to the marina is about 30 minutes, then the boat ride to the island itself is another 30 minutes. Once you're there, you forget about all that and take the beverage Chef has waiting for you at the dock, while another is taking your bags to your house.  

This may be the only place we ever vacation now, so we almost don't want everyone else to know how great it is! lol.  But Jason and the guys on the island deserve the praise.  This place is amazing.

PS: Very random and perhaps unnecessary information, but there are three Pelican's that reside on the island that we aptly named Thomas, Gerard, and Felicia.  Tell them we said hello!!

WOW, where do you start when everything was so amazing! This has to be one of the most beautiful places on the planet and has a stellar staff. The island and the house is every bit as beautiful as the pictures and I think it should be on everyone's must do list! Jason was a huge help in assisting us in coordinating our trip and answered all our questions rapidly. Manny and the staff are so warm, kind and hard working, we can not thank them enough. This was the best vacation I have ever had and can't wait to come back and do it again!  Mary Jayne

This was the trip of a lifetime. LPO exceeded every single expectation. We love, love, love the staff there. These guys are so fun and so dedicated to making your trip fantastic. Thank you Chef Freddy, Larry, Marcelo, and Manny for treating us like queens.Manny took us fishing and we ate our delicious catch for dinner that night. Also, a nice touch is the fact that we were met at the airport in Belize City by Emilio. He took care of everything and got us lined up for the short flight to Dangriga. On the way back we arrived early and he had a cab pick us up and take us to a nice little place on the river for lunch and arranged the return ride to the airport so we did not have to wait in the very crowded airport. This was the royal treatment in every way. Daune

Loved our stay. Beautiful island. We stayed the end of February into first week of March, perfect time. Dry season. 80’s all day. Tips: #1 Very windy at night and sea becomes very choppy so arrive early and plan to leave early. I love boats so I had a blast but others may get scared. #2 No need to pack a bunch of clothes. Sun dress or two. It is hot! We went bare foot and in dresses the entire time. Will need tennis shoes if you go to Ruins. We brought 1 suitcase for 3 women and that was plenty. #3 Look over things you may like to see in Belize and have a plan. You are on an island and getting you to places does take time. The caretaker, Manny, will help you figure out what is possible and what isn’t. #4 Jason, the host, replies within minutes to messages! So reach out if need be. #5 You will meet lots of nice people! Every thing is taken care of, from the moment you land in Belize City, you will have a guide along the way. #6 Be flexible !!! We loved the people, food, experience! Be nice and every one will be nice to you!! Summer

The vacation and home dreams are made of! Beautiful island and such an amazing staff ready to take care of your every need! My husband and I enjoyed taking life slow and enjoying all Little Peter (and the surrounding area) had to offer! The oasis in the back is amazing but we’d highly recommend taking the snorkel gear and swimming next to the trees and on the other side of the island where the pier is! This is an amazing place to stay!! Gorgeous accommodations with a view unlike any other!! We really enjoyed watching the pelicans off the deck and seeing all of the beautiful sea life right off the deck. The kayaks, paddle boards and snorkeling gear were great to have available. The staff was outstanding and very accommodating. Manny was great fun on our excursions and very knowledgeable of the area and fun to spend time with. Micki and Freddy prepared wonderful meals for us 3 times a day! You must try Freddy's lobster!! Alvin did an awesome job on keeping our accommodations spotless!! Larry was always available and very fast to respond to any and all of our requests. The staff is great they were always there when we need them, but they also knew when to give us time alone. Little Peter's island and the experience are a wonderful addition to anyone's bucket list..and will not disappoint! Tamara

The Little Peter Oasis in a word...Incredible. We really wondered if it could possibly be as beautiful in person as it appeared in pictures. Our minds were blown. It is truly a stunning property. The staff (Manny, Freddy, Larry & Alvin) were great. They were always happy to help in any way possible. Having an island all to yourself is such a special experience. Our snorkeling trip was the best we've ever had. We saw a massive sea turtle, nurse sharks, barracuda, sting rays and every color fish and coral you can imagine. The snorkeling right off the deck of the house is really excellent as well. We had multiple sting rays swim right up to the deck and there is a really cool area full of all sorts of shells. The pelicans put on great aerial shows all day long. It is helpful to remember that being on a small island means there are limitations on hot water and electricity. If you go in knowing this it won't be a bother, but it is something you might not have thought of. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, romantic or once in a lifetime experience. Vic

All I can say about our trip to Little Peter Oasis is that it was an awesome experience! Everything about the trip was first class and exceeded all our expectations. Our host Jason and his entire staff went out of their way to ensure that we had a very relaxing and enjoyable trip. Jason was always very quick to respond to any questions we had before our arrival and had arranged all the logistics once we hit the ground in Belize City. Upon in Belize City Jason’s staff on the ground took great care of us, and made sure we made our connection to Dangriga. Then once we arrived in Dangriga, Manny took over and quickly got us to our island paradise. What can I say about Manny, he is a great guide and always made sure we enjoyed ourselves. The snorkeling and fishing were great as were the accommodations and meals. On our last night on the island, Manny and his staff made a camp fire on the shore near a table they had set up for us to enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner with a bottle of wine. The final personalized touch was Jason called us on our last day on the island to check in with us to be sure we had enjoyed ourselves. Based on our total experience I would highly recommend visiting Little Peter Oasis, I know we will be going back. David
